"Dear Flights

We have been customers for sometime now - maybe 18 months and today I was expounding the virtues of your service to a colleague and thought it was about time I gave you some feedback. So here it is!

We love what you do and the way that you do it. More than customers, we feel part of a community of people who want and get the best local organic produce. The standard of your produce is simply superb - it's interesting to hear about the struggles you have growing and getting the produce to us, but we never receive anything but the best. It's wonderful to do business with people for whom it isn't all about the money and so we don't feel ripped off like you do in so many organic/local suppliers. Your service is also second to none - always helpful and cheerful and you can't teach that.

We enjoy the surprise of what's in the box each week and have learned what a celeriac is (great soup) and that organic lettuce needs washing 'cos it has real soil instead of insecticides on! We like reading the newsletter and have tried several recipes. It may be wrong, but we love the fact that our purchasing is subverting the supermarket empires, supporting local producers and we can eat with good conscience!

Thank you, be encouraged!

David, Ludlow.

Hi  We had our first delivery of your organic box (multi). It was great! I'm a bit of chef at home and the box was a kind of 'Ready Steady Cook' challenge. The beauty of what you provide is that you give us good wholesome veg which we then are challenged to make good meals from. I had no problem roasting and steaming the veg along with whatever meat we chose too. The carrots, parsnips and potatoes were properly muddy (so that light didn't spoil them), and the rest was well presented. There's definitely something more earthy and basic about having decent tasty seasonal veg which makes me think more about how it can be cooked and served to its best advantage.

Suppliers to supermarkets should abandon the Tesco type giants and just do what you're doing - local producers serving local buyers. The produce is far superior, local producers are supported properly, and the land is kept free of artificial fertilisers. Tesco etc seem to think we all want washed standard-sized veg. We don't!

Pass on my compliments to your suppliers, your pickers, packers, and deliverers. 24.01.07 "

"I would just like to register my complete satisfaction at the superb boxes of vegetables I have been receiving.   I have been searching a long time for fresh organic vegetables and have found just what I was looking for.    Your produce and service must surely be the best.  No problem now in eating 5 portions a day!"

“My partner and I have been having your box scheme delivered for some months now and it really has made a difference to our way of living and the food we usually consume.  As much as we love organic produce, we also believe strongly in the ethical implications when buying good food.  Because of the good work you do in providing us with a very good service that compliments our beliefs, we thought you might like to know we have both nominated your company for the 'Observer Ethical Award 2007'“

"Hi, I would just like to say that on a day when the schools closed, the public transport system failed, thousands couldn't get into work, and the roads were manic..... Richard still delivered our veggie boxes despite adversity!  A top-class service!  Thanks,"
